It is hard to believe that it has been over two years since the infamous Grand Theft Auto VI leak which saw over 90 videos from the game’s development leaked online.
With the hacker since dealt with and Grand Theft Auto fans mostly moved on, others are still pouring through the leaked files to discover if there is anything we missed about the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI.
Check out the first official GTA VI trailer below!
From our first glance at our, then unconfirmed, new protagonist Lucia in the modern-day Vice City, the leaks were all the information we had about GTA VI at the time.

Now, over two years on, and although we have received our first official trailer, we still remain in the dark about a lot of Rockstar’s choices for the highly-anticipated entry.
However, according to Reddit user Denso95, there is something we missed amongst the leaked information which relates to the expected file size of Grand Theft Auto VI.
“The file size of the dev build was possibly around 80 GB big,” they shared over on r/GTA6.
“My very personal guess is, we can expect just under 200 GB as the final file size because dev builds often only have specific features active which are currently needed.”

If this is true, the sixth instalment of the GTA series will be its biggest yet, with its most recent entry, Grand Theft Auto V, ranging from file sizes of 72gb to 94gb.
Not only that but GTA VI will also take up a hefty chunk of your console storage and not everybody will be playing on launch if their internet speeds aren’t up to the task.
Of course, this file size has been unconfirmed by Rockstar but considering that GTA VI is supposed to push the boundaries of graphics and be the best looking game of all time, it is not hard to imagine that 200gb is a good guess.
