GTA 6 gameplay graphics leak promises best-looking game we've ever seen

Would we expect anything less?

It’s another day, which means that we’re getting another batch of GTA VI rumours, this time, promising that it’ll be one of the best-looking games we’ve ever seen.

It should come as no surprise that when the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series graces us with its presence, it will at the very least be visually stunning. After all, ever since the release of GTA III in 2001, the open-world Rockstar Games titles have been very pleasing to the eye.

Check out the GTA VI trailer below!

We’ve only seen snippets of actual gameplay taken from the first GTA VI trailer released in December 2023. By now, fans were hoping that we’d be treated to the second trailer but Rockstar Games is good at keeping us waiting.

So, until we get further details from Rockstar Games, we’re just going to have to make do with a constant flurry of rumours, which should all be taken with a pinch of salt until we get official confirmation.

Nonetheless, as reported by Tweaktown.com, an alleged Grand Theft Auto leaker claims that the graphics of GTA VI will be even better than the gorgeous Red Dead Redemption 2 stating that it feels “truly next-gen.”

Looking at this rumour logically, it should come as no surprise if true. After all, as stunning as Red Dead Redemption 2 is to this very day, it was released in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, before making its way to PC the following year.

The leak also mentions GTA VI’s dynamic weather which includes “hurricane-type weather” resulting in NPCs losing balance during strong winds and running for cover. That may seem like a small detail but it would certainly add to the overall immersion of the game.

It’s also claimed that vehicle crashes will be more realistic with each vehicle having its dynamic damage mechanics which will also differ depending on what upgrades it may have. Vehicle details include individual headlights being damaged or falling off, and the inside of the trunk can also be damaged if it has a body inside.

At the time of writing, GTA VI does not have a release date but it is scheduled to launch late this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, unless it gets delayed. The PC version is expected to be revealed at a later date.
