GTA 6 fans are bracing themselves for 30 January

It’s another day, which means there’s another GTA VI fan theory but could this one come to fruition? Only time will tell.

By now, I’m slowly becoming numb to all the rumours, leaks and theories regarding the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series from Rockstar Games. That being said, the moment we let our guard down will be the moment that GTA VI trailer two drops.

When Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023, social media went into a meltdown with exceeding levels of hype and expectations. At the time of writing, the GTA VI trailer one has surpassed 235 million views and the second trailer is expected to garner similar numbers.

Fans were hoping that the second GTA VI trailer would be been released on the first anniversary of the original trailer but sadly, that moment never came to be, but could the new trailer be just around the corner?

As reported by Metro, Reddit user douknowwhyareuhere, believes the next GTA VI trailer will arrive later this month.

In a nutshell, going on the basis that the GTA V release date was announced on Thursday, 31 January 2013 and the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date was announced on Thursday, 1 February 2018, they believe the GTA VI release date will drop on Thursday, 30 January 2025.

Of course, we should take the above theory with a pinch of salt but compared to other GTA VI gossip, this probably makes more sense than most. I guess we’ll all find out if this theory comes true, just over a week from now.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to be released late this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The inevitable PC release is yet to be revealed.
