Our next look at Grand Theft Auto VI, whatever form it might take, may be nestled in a community update for Grand Theft Auto Online. That's the suggestion of industry insider Tez2 - but let's check out the facts before we dig into this scoop.
Grand Theft Auto VI was rebooted several times, and it was in active development before the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, however it was only the leak in September when we actually saw anything of the upcoming game. Given the trials and tribulations that the team went through, it was not the momentous reveal that they had imagined, but fortunately, other companies offered their sympathies over the damage that the hack had done.

This sliver of Grand Theft Auto VI that we have seen was enough to tantalise the tastebuds of the fans and since then, they've been busy building a map of the game and more. They're also sniffing out any hint of another announcement from whatever they can find and insider Tez2 has offered a splash of fuel to the fire.
"I know this isn't related to GTA6, but I like to speculate, which I like to remind [you all] isn't a fact, that Rockstar could announce the info in a sort of a 'Community Update,'" suggested Tez2 in a thread on the GTAForums. "Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk about my educated guess."

More like a Tez talk, am I right? What I think Tez2 is referring to is one of Rockstar Games' posts about Grand Theft Auto Online where we might see a throwaway line or two about the next game in the series. Perhaps even a piece of concept artwork if we've been very good. Still, it's best to monitor our expectations when the developer is picking up the pieces of the hack.
