GTA V players are being offered free in-game currency, but in a bizarre move from Rockstar Games you still have to pay towards it…
GTA V: Online doesn’t have long left as GTA VI is right around the corner. We don’t know much about the online mode in the next game but it’s likely it’ll launch shortly after the singleplayer portion drops.
Given the size of the map seen in the trailer it makes you wonder how many players will be able to play together at the same time
In what appears to be an attempt to get long-gone players back into the game, Rockstar Games is offering a maximum of $3,000,000 GTA V: Online currency to those who haven’t played in over 60 days.

$1,000,000 will be automatically deposited into your in-game bank account within 72 hours, after you’ve linked your Rockstar Games account to your respective platform through the website. If you’ve received a ban during your time playing, you’ll be ineligible for this freebie
An additional $2,000,000 can be earned too, but the method in which you earn it is questionable at best.
For $1,500,000 you need to buy a Shark Card, either a Great White, Whale, or Megalodon and for the remaining $500,000 you need to subscribe to GTA+.
As someone who used to play GTA V: Online quite regularly I can confidently say $3,000,000 really doesn’t get you that far in the gamemode, so this doesn’t sound like a great deal to me.

At least the $1,000,000 doesn’t have any strings attached, and if you think the remaining $2,000,000 is worth it you can go right ahead and claim it by following the above steps.
Personally I’d rather wait for GTA VI: Online, as I just know none of the content we’ve earned so far will be transferable anyway.
