GTA V players can claim these hefty freebies as the end of its era fast approaches, so act now, before it’s too late.
Unless you’ve been living under a giant rock over the last few years, you’d be well aware that 2026 is finally the year that GTA VI graces us with its presence. That’s assuming, of course, that Rockstar Games doesn't delay the game again, which is always a possibility.
So, hopefully, the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series doesn't get delayed for a third time, and we can all be causing mayhem in the returning location of Vice City once more.
Other than GTA V being a massive game in its own right, both critically and commercially, one of (if not) the biggest contributing factors to its success is GTA Online, which has continually brought in the big bucks for both Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive.
To put it simply, GTA Online has garnered millions of dollars thanks to its in-game purchases delivered by its Shark Cards, not to mention that Rockstar Games regularly updates the player experience with a plethora of events, and the latest event is live right now.
The latest free event in question is ‘Old School Hits’, and other than having special events that grant free DLC, bonus RXP and currency for everyone, there’s a little something extra for those who subscribe to GTA+.

GTA+ subscribers can claim the free Bravado Buffalo STX Pursuit Law Enforcement Vehicle, as well as an additional GTA$500,000, on top of a 15% discount on the aforementioned Shark Cards.
You may also be interested to know that GTA+ subscribers can currently download Red Dead Redemption and 2006’s Bully at no extra cost.

It’s an optional subscription service for GTA Online that does not impact the single-player game. It gives subscribers perks such as exclusive free DLC, RXP and GTA$ bonuses, discounts, and select Rockstar Games titles.
You also get additional perks such as free upgrades to your properties in Los Santos, bonus cosmetics and more. Claimed content will remain accessible even if your subscription is cancelled. If you’re an avid GTA Online fan, the £6.99/$5.99 monthly fee might represent value for money. GTA+ is only available to GTA Online on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Rockstar Games hasn't officially confirmed that news just yet, but we’d be shocked if GTA+ didn't return for GTA VI’s version of GTA Online.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to be released on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar Games hasn't announced it for PC yet.
