On the first day of Christmas Epic Games gave to me, Bloons TD 6 free on PC. Look, it beats a partridge in a pear tree.
It’s almost Christmas, and as expected, the Epic Games Store is once again being very generous by giving away 15 free PC games (one per day) until the end of the month. The promotion kicked off yesterday with Bloons TD 6, which is free to download and keep right now.
If you’re looking for more freebies, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be free to play via PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium from 20 December - take a look below.
All you’ll need to claim the free titles is an Epic Games Store account, and beyond that, you’ll just have to make sure that you remember each day to check the freebie. If you want Bloons, you’ll have to be fast - the next freebie is going to be available at 4PM UK time, when the current one will once again have to be paid for with actual money.

As for the rest of the free games? It’s all a mystery. There’ve been no hints as to what the other offerings could be, so we’ll just have to keep checking back. All you really need to know is that you don’t have to spend a single penny to get them, so there’s no catch at all.
In other free game news, Sony recently announced a plethora of new titles coming to PlayStation Plus’ Extra and Premium tier game libraries later this month. If you’re a subscriber, you’ll be able to get stuck into Far Cry 5, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, and loads more.
Nothing says Christmas time like an unreasonable huge backlog, does it? Steam’s Winter Sale is also set to kick off soon, so gamers might end up picking up even more titles there if the deals are good enough.
