We already know that the upcoming God Of War Ragnarök is the end of Kratos' "Norse mythology saga", which means the story simply wouldn't be complete without a trip the realm of the Gods itself: Asgard.
2018's God Of War offered up a handful of realms for players to explore, including Alfheim, Helheim, and Jötunheim. Asgard, however, was one of the few elusive realms. Presumably because if Kratos could've walked right across the rainbow bridge and torn off Odin's legs from the start there wouldn't have been a sequel.
Take a look at the latest trailer for God Of War Ragnarök below!
With a father-son road trip to Asgard very much on the cards for Kratos and Atreus this time around, we've now been given out first glimpse at what to expect from the mighty realm when Ragnarök arrives later this year.

As you may have seen, PlayStation has detailed all the shiny collector's editions of God Of War Ragnarök that will be available to buy. Among them is the special Jotnar Edition, which comes with a map of the Nine Realms that appear in the game.
As you can see below, the map includes a very quick look at Asgard. While it doesn't give too much away, we can see the iconic rainbow bridge, along with what looks to be a mighty fortress which I assume surrounds the main city.
If I were a betting man I'd suggest that Kratos is going to have to fight his way into that fortress and crack some skulls - most likely at the very end of the game. We'll find out for sure when God Of War Ragnarök hits PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 9.
