Yet another Elden Ring update has arrived, and it's mercifully put a swift end to one of the game's most concerning issues.

While the last major Elden Ring update released by FromSoftware made a number of controversial changes -many of which fans are still demanding be reversed - this latest patch is much smaller, and makes a fix that everyone can agree was most definitely needed.

Take a look at one of Elden Ring's best weapons in action below! It hasn't been nerfed yet or anything, so enjoy it while you can.

Last week, it emerged that hackers had uncovered a game-breaking exploit in Elden Ring that could trap players in an endless death loop, effectively destroying their progress and forcing them to start over. Not ideal.

Hackers were joining other worlds as a regular invaders, before suddenly forcing their victims games to crash. Attempting to reboot, players who had fallen foul of the hack would find their character stuck falling to their death over and over again. In The Lands Between, this is known as "maidenless behaviour". On my street, we call it a dick move.

Anyway, it's all sorted now! According to the patch notes for update 1.03.2, publisher Bandai Namco confirmed it's included a fix for "a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates". Hopefully that means it's entirely safe for players to go back online... assuming those damn hackers don't find another exploit in the next few weeks.
