It's less than two weeks to go now until the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and if you're not already excited, you definitely should be. As well as that oh-so-charming LEGO game art style and personality, the game boasts a whole host of varied planets to explore, and an absolutely massive amount of playable characters, too.

Thanks to the game's page on the LEGO website, we already knew there were set to be "hundreds of playable characters from throughout the galaxy and every era of the saga", but a new leak might have confirmed just how colossal the lineup is. As reported by The Direct, one leaker, @1414falconfan, posted a list of every character who'll appear in the base game, and there's over 300 of them. Wow.

Check out some gameplay from LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga just here to get you in the mood for adventure.

I'm not going to list all the characters here for you because we'd be here all day, but to name just a few, we've got Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Mace Windu, Palpatine, Darth Maul, and Jar Jar Binks, who I'm sure everyone will be very excited about. It's also worth noting that a lot of the list is populated by variations of the same character - as well as a regular Kylo Ren, we've also got Kylo Ren (No Helmet) and Kylo Ren (Topless), who definitely count as separate entities. And yes, that is what they're actually listed as.

As of now, all of this is unofficial, of course, so take it with a pinch of salt. What we can say for sure though is that the game itself is looking really promising - in our preview, GAMINGbible's own Tom said: "Taking the concept of an open galaxy to travel around, set in different eras, allowing you to play as different characters across the saga, it's sort of like emptying your box of Star Wars LEGO all over the floor and playing exactly how you want. And isn't that exactly what you'd want from a LEGO game?"

There's not long to wait now at all, as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga releases on 5 April onPS4, PS5,Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC - get your blocky lightsabers at the ready.
