E3 Website Is Now Full Of Porn And Gambling Adverts

It seems that E3's old marketing portal has been completely taken over by gambling ads and literal porn, for some reason.

So, there's been a lot of discussion in recent months as to whether or not we're ever going to see E3 return to its former glory. The expo is widely considered to be one of, if not the biggest event in the games industry's calendar - where else can you see thousands of gamers scream about the announcement of shiny new titles, and watch Keanu Reeves create a legendary meme all in real-time? Nowhere else springs to mind.

Unfortunately though, we're now entering our third year without any semblance of a normal, in-person event, after it was announced in January that the event would be cancelled due to concerns about Covid. However, many have been speculating whether E3 shifting online back in 2020 could have marked a permanent move, which just hasn't been officially announced yet. Now, a very significant change to the expo's former marketing website even further suggests that the end (at least as we know it) could be nigh - it's not only unused, but completely full of porn and gambling ads. Yes, really.

Before we get into it, why not relive Keanu Reeves' breathtaking E3 2019 moment below?

This bizarre change was spotted by Twitter user @RostiResetEra: "The former marketing portal of @E3 now features gambling and porn ads," they wrote. It's hosted by Chinese @Baidu_Inc (via Beijing Baidu Netcom Science and Technology Co., Ltd.)."

Now, for obvious reasons, I'm not going to be giving you the link, because it really is full of porn. Like, actually. All of us here on the GAMINGbible team who decided to investigate out of pure curiosity (and for writing articles - you're welcome) can only apologise to our IT department for our now very questionable search histories. However, if you really want to find it, @RostiResetEra's tweet will let you know what to search. Just don't blame me if you open it at work, or sat next to your mum. There's also a lot of bright, flashing banners, so be careful about those, too.

Now, if you don't mind me, I'm going to go and clear my search history now.
