Assassin’s Creed Shadows is next in line for Ubisoft, with the delayed game finally set to land next month.
After that, well, it’s unknown what’s next in store for the publisher.
Assassin’s Creed Jade is surely overdue, and Assassin’s Creed Hexe has already been announced.

Star Wars Outlaws’ second DLC expansion is also due out this spring.
For the most part though, the company is holding its cards close to its chest.
It’s rumoured that Far Cry could resurface this year, with Far Cry 7 perhaps receiving a summer reveal.
I certainly hope that’s the case as it’s been four years since Far Cry 6 landed - and even if Far Cry 7 is revealed, it’s likely still to be one year plus away from launch.

In the meantime, I do have a related something to direct your attention towards.
Remember Far Cry Arcade? The game mode came included in Far Cry 5, allowing players to create and share their own maps.
Well, one Far Cry 5 player previously took it upon themself to use the mode to recreate Far Cry 2.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is shaping up very nicely. Let’s hope it delivers.
This project is the work of user DannyPig1 and overall, it’s pretty faithful.

There is, in my opinion, one major benefit to playing Danny’s version of the game; you don’t need to take that damn malaria medication every few minutes.
Of course, the creator didn’t make the entirety of the game. Instead, you can experience an assault mode set within several of Far Cry 2’s environments but still, it’s nice to revisit the classic even in this capacity.
If you have a copy of Far Cry 5, you should be able to find the map which is simply under the name ‘Far Cry 2’.
To see it in action, you can check out a playthrough of the mode by YouTuber GregorOnline.
