If you’re desperate to get back to the wastelands of Fallout 4, but have seen everything there is from Bethesda, then the best thing for you will be mods.

Mods can expand the game by either adding new items, questlines, or even giving you more wastelands to explore, and this new map for Fallout 4 is just the ticket.

Essentially, this mod brings in the state of Connecticut, giving players a whole new wilderness to delve into, offering a change of scenery, as well as new challenges.

Because it’s not just another state to trudge through, this mod brings with it new NPCs, new quests, and a “sinister conspiracy” to solve.

Fallout fans will love the spooky theme park that sits at the centre of the map, providing a perfect backdrop to the rampaging ghouls that are hunting you down.

There’s little better an abandoned theme parks, and while Bethesda is hard at work on The Elder Scrolls VI, we have to thank mod creators for giving us these places of joy that have become literal nightmares.

Available through Nexus Mods, you can download this map and start playing right away.

It certainly seems it has some fans, though I think it’s worth noting that some are pointing out the creator has used AI art throughout the mod, and if this is something that puts you off, then you should know about it now.

Hopefully, we’ll soon see Bethesda turn their eyes back to the Fallout universe and offer us a fresh game, or even a remaster.

Though, fans of the franchise will be able to dive back into the Amazon TV show soon, as season two takes us to New Vegas and expands on the stories from the first season.

Wastelanders rejoice, there’s still plenty to discover in the world of Fallout.
