Elden Ring: Grace Given announced, but it's not something we'll all be able to enjoy

One of the most beautiful books we've ever seen

A new book has been revealed that details the lore and world of Elden Ring, but it's priced so highly that many fans may not be able to get their hands on it.

"The most ambitious RPG in video game history is now being honoured with the most extravagant book-length appraisal yet, written by beloved Elden Ring lore expert Geoff 'SmoughTown' Truscott. Prepare for a comprehensive deep dive into the mythology underpinning Miyazaki's latest masterpiece. Grace Given draws design inspiration from the most prized sacred books of antiquity, culminating in a product that is both a work of scholarship and unparalleled collectible art piece in the same package," the description for the book reads.

ICYMI: Take a look at our Shadow of the Erdtree review below.

Unfortunately, however, the book isn't cheap. The collector's edition comes in at £215, and that's the cheapest version available for the book. The limited edition retails at £602, and that's primarily because the book is bound in actual leather, which isn't cheap in the slightest, and there's also several other small changes.

The biggest and most expensive version of the book, however, is the benefactor edition, which comes with a name credit in the back of the book in addition to everything available with previous editions of the book. Pre-ordering any edition of the book will get players the following:

  • Free shipping
  • Free audiobook edition for the book
  • Free eBook edition for the book

Anything higher than the collector's edition gets fans a special art print that is hand-signed and numbered by the artist, and also comes in a special custom envelope. The book is currently estimated to launch in early 2025, though there's no precise date for it as of yet.
