Eight-year-old gamer wrecks Elden Ring's hardest boss with no help

An eight-year-old gamer has managed to destroy Elden Ring's Malenia all on his own, putting everyone else to shame.

Elden Ring is not an easy game. I know that the diehard Soulsborne players out there would probably beg to differ, but let’s face it - unless you know FromSoftware's games and how they work like the back of your hand, they’re never going to be a walk in the park.

Any Tarnished who dares embark on a journey into the Lands Between will encounter a plethora of challenging foes, each more powerful than the last. The numerous attempts you make trying to destroy Margit the Fell Omen will look like absolutely nothing by the time you reach the end of the game and have to kill Elden Beast (good lord, the hours spent there). However, no boss is trickier than Malenia - the red-headed swordswoman lurking in Miquella’s Haligtree.

Malenia is so powerful that she can take on most of the other Elden Ring bosses with ease - take a look below.

It’s undeniable that Malenia has been the bane of many Elden Ring players’ lives since the game released, and I don’t think there’s anyone out there who can say that they breezed through her two-phase fight with no issues whatsoever. However, as GGRecon reports, over on Reddit, one proud parent has shared that their eight-year-son has managed to beat the game’s most brutal boss with no help at all.

“So for weeks on end he has tried, and failed, to fight Malenia. This morning he woke me up to say he beat her, and sure as sh*t he did. After throwing himself, and his Mimic Tear, at her he killed her,” thatguyinarobe wrote. “My biggest thanks is that he beat her so I didn’t have to (he plays on my account) lmao. I haven’t played in over a month because I got tired of fighting her. So everyone give a shout out to, possibly the youngest player to beat Malenia. Through sheer willpower and determination he managed to do it.”

According to the Reddit user, the young Tarnished used the Bloodhound’s Fang and Ice Grease in order to take Malenia down, so he very clearly knows his stuff. It sounds like we have a new Let Me Solo Her in the making.
