Aside from the mammoth that is Call of Duty, Activision has other giant franchises under its umbrella, namely Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Diablo, to name a few. However, it’s the latter that is today’s topic of discussion.
Despite a lot of excitement for Diablo IV, it perhaps never celebrated the launch that a lot of fans had hoped for. Sure the gameplay was fine and visually it looked great but there were complaints of server issues, unfulfilling rewards and a lack of enticing content, despite becoming Blizzard Entertainment’s fastest-selling game ever.
Check out the Diablo IV ‘Loot Reborn’ trailer below!
It’s been nearly a year since Diablo IV was released and now it’s entering its fourth free season of content officially known as ‘Loot Reborn’. As the name of season four suggests, this latest season is all about rewarding players with glorious loot, but will it be enough to claw back the masses?

As detailed on Blizzard.com, other than rewarding players with more and hopefully, better loot, gameplay and character classes have been rebalanced which will presumably make characters feel less underpowered and/or overpowered. Weapons and items including potions have also been tweaked in the latest update.
New tiers to the Masterworking Material caches have been implemented which should mean that players will have more crafting materials to create better equipment. What’s more, a new icon has been introduced which will enable players to more easily identify which items have at least one Greater Affix.
Additionally, players are now able to trade Legendary and Unique items but there are some restrictions. Players can only trade unaltered items with Enchanting Imprinting, Masterworking and Tempering are locked to your account.
Oh, and if you’re looking for an added challenge, the World Boss Health has been “greatly” increased for World Tiers III and IV. Finally, one other fun factor of note is that you’ll be able to team up with the Iron Wolves to battle against the forces of evil.
