Let's be honest with ourselves for a second: who among us hasn't dreamt of planning and pulling off an elaborate heist? I'm not saying I'd ever do it (especially if the feds are reading this), but a man can dream.
Enter Den Of Wolves, the new co-op shooter from 10 Chambers that throws players into a dystopian near(ish) future and asks you to go rob the heck out people. With lots of guns. And futuristic gadgets. And more guns.
As you can see in the trailer below, Den Of Wolves has shades of Cyberpunk 2077 in its setting. But there's also plenty of Payday 2 in its DNA. This should come as no huge surprise, given much of the talent leading 10 Chambers actually worked on the original Payday and its sequel (but not Payday 3, in case you were concerned).

"In this techno-thriller you and your friends operate as criminals for hire in the conflicts between rival corporations in Midway City," teases the game's description. "Gather your crew, design the plan, gear up and execute the heist."
The brand-new trailer shown at The Game Awards was our first real taste of Den Of Wolves in action, and while it's brief, it should be enough to give you an indication of the kind of game this is.

You'll plan heists with friends and work to get away with as much as you can carry, all while responding to evolving threats and disruptions to the plan. Because no good heist goes off without a hitch, does it?
If you love Payday 2, much of what Den Of Wolves is offering should be familiar enough, but the brand-new sci-fi setting allows for all sorts of fun new tools and environments that we could never have had in a more grounded game.
It's also worth noting 10 Chambers has clearly taken some cues from its last game, co-op horror GTFO. While the focus is definitely more on action with Den Of Wolves, the trailer's final moments tease there'll be some pretty creepy moments.
Den Of Wolves will launch in Early Access on Steam, though a release window has yet to be announced. Be sure to stay tuned for more info.
