If you’re a fan of the sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 and a certain video game that is football but with cars, then you’ll want to claim this surprise DLC.
Cyberpunk 2077 initially launched in a mess, especially on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. So much so that Sony pulled the game from sale. The sci-fi RPG returned months later which would be a benchmark moment for developer CD Projekt RED fixing the game.
Check out the Rocket League cinematic trailer below!
Now, a few years have passed and I think that most of us can agree that Cyberpunk 2077 is finally the game it was promised to be. Well, at least on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Cyberpunk 2077 has garnered great success on its available platforms, seeing the launch of its critically acclaimed expansion, Phantom Liberty, as well as a fantastic Netflix anime that Hideo Kojima described as a “miracle”, countless merch and much more.
Now, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to reach even more gamers in a crossover with the charming sports game, Rocket League. Developed by Psyonix, Rocket League was originally released in 2015 and gained a loyal legion of fans almost instantly.
However, when Rocket League went free-to-play in 2020, it became more popular than ever and being a free game, meant that we’d see a lot more microtransactions. Thankfully, those in-game purchases are cosmetic and to be honest, some of the skins for its speedy little sports cars are quite cute.
We’ve seen loads of fun crossover events in Rocket League such as X-Men, Ghostbusters, Spider-Man, Batman and so much more. Its latest crossover event is now on the way and it looks to be the aforementioned Cyberpunk 2077.

Earlier this week, the upcoming content was teased via the official Rocket League Twitter account with a very brief seven-second teaser trailer. The Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter page replied to the tweet with some ‘watching’ eyes emoji, all but confirming the new DLC.

“Rocket League x Cyberpunk 2077 confirmed!” exclaimed SussyM51019.
“Would be the best collab till this day,” replied CtrlFi.
We don't know when the content will be available or what it will feature. Hopefully, some of the cosmetic skins will include Cyberpunk 2077 cars Delamain No.21, Colby CX410 Butte, Thornton Galena Rattler and the Archer Quartz "Bandit".
