Cyberpunk 2077: One More Light is an excellent story expansion you can download free

The only bad thing about Cyberpunk 2077 is that there isn’t more of it but this new story expansion is guaranteed to tug at your heartstrings.

It has been almost four years since Cyberpunk 2077 was first released and despite a rocky start, it has gone on to cement itself as one of the best RPGs of all time.

With a beautiful yet corrupt setting, intriguing storyline and epic gameplay, the CD Projekt Red title has something for everyone so it is perhaps no surprise that developers are already hard at work on its sequel, currently codenamed Project Orion.

For now, fans are desperate for more content and although its Phantom Liberty DLC is the first and only expansion, modders are taking control with extra quests guaranteed to pull players back into Night City.

For example the New Quest - One More Light mod by deceptius over on Nexus Mods adds a whole new quest to the game which is triggered after a major story event.

Pretty early on in the game, our V loses their best friend Jackie in a heist gone wrong. In the base game, attending his ofrenda will be the end of his storyline but not if you download this free mod.

Once the ofrenda is over and 36 hours have passed, V will be able to go to the Columbarium, find Jackie’s niche and talk to him. You can tell him what has happened since his death and you also have the chance to go back and visit whenever you like.

Be mindful that this quest will only work if players chose to not send Jackie’s body to Vik’s and instead sent him to his mother, which in turn triggers the ofrenda.

This is just one of many story mods available for Cyberpunk 2077 which adds more lore and content to the incredible RPG.
