Cyberpunk 2077 is dominating headlines today thanks to a surprise announcement by CD Projekt RED and to celebrate the news, it is offering free downloads for fans.
Yesterday saw CD Projekt RED reveal that it had secretly been working on a free new update for Cyberpunk 2077, despite claiming earlier this year that it was done with development.

With Update 2.2 on the way, CDPR is not yet done with announcements after revealing that fans of its hit RPG could download some free wallpapers to celebrate Night City.

This comes after the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account released multiple wallpapers last week after fans campaigned for them to be made available.
Now it seems as though the developer has been bitten with the wallpaper bug after it took to social media to share another batch of downloads available to grab for free.
“DECRYPTING MESSAGE...Runnin' from the cops again, Choom? You gotta move to Night City. Peeps have no idea what true freedom tastes until they come here,” the cryptic Tweet reads.
“Plus, if you're good 'nuff, it's easy to collect some bounties around. Earn a livin'! Gimme a call, Dum-Dum. END MESSAGE.”

This time, the four wallpapers up for grabs relate to various locations in and around Night City.
This includes Phantom Liberty’s combat zone, Dogtown, as well as Night City’s Pacifica area where you will ride a rollercoaster with Johnny, the Badlands where you team up with Panam and her fellow Aldecaldos, and the Northside Industrial District.
These will be the perfect way to celebrate the game in style and are now available to download in a variety of different sizes on the official Cyberpunk 2077 website.
We will have to wait until later today to see the official CDPR stream which will tell us more about Cyberpunk 2077’s upcoming 2.2 Update.
