Cyberpunk 2077 players can claim a PlayStation-exclusive free download now

Free is always better

Cyberpunk 2077 fans with a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 can get their hands on a little something extra right now, and it won't cost you a thing.

It's been a joy to see Cyberpunk 2077 thrive since its horrendous launch, although I still would advise you stay away from playing the game on a PlayStation 4 if you can help it.

To really get the most out of everything CD Projekt RED has done in Cyberpunk 2077 over the last few years, you'll want to play on a new-gen console like a PlayStation 5.

With that said, it doesn't matter which generation of PlayStation console you own for the freebie in question here. All you need is a copy of Cyberpunk 2077... or any of these other five games, actually. Oh, and a subscription to the PlayStation Stars loyalty program, which is totally free.

As of right now PlayStation Stars subscribers can get their hands on a shiny new digital collectible if they play any one of six games, including Cyberpunk 2077.

"Our journey to celebrate the RPG genre and its influence continues with The Outlaw," PlayStation writes. "These characters defy law and order to fight for what they believe in. Play any one of these titles to get your Digital Collectible tarot card."

  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • LIke a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Payday 3

PlayStation Stars members can also grab bonus points through May which can be redeemed for free store credit.

It's never much, but it does add up surprisingly quickly. So even if you aren't all that bothered about digital collectibles (and I can't say I blame you if you're not), it's worth signing up to Stars to start earning those points.
