Gather around, chooms. The latest Cyberpunk 2077 update has arrived, bringing with it some welcomed quality of life changes.
It goes without saying, you shouldn’t expect anything revolutionary to come to Cyberpunk 2077 at this stage. Last year was a transformative one for the game. Update 2.0 was a complete overhaul, adding a new relic skill tree, mounted weaponry, vehicular combat, and more. Add in the surprise Update 2.1, which saw the addition of the new metro system, and the fantastic Phantom Liberty expansion, and Cyberpunk 2077 finally reached a stage of living up to its potential. In fact, many fans said it would’ve won GOTY had it been released in this state originally.
CD Projekt RED devs, as such, have now shifted their focus onto The Witcher 4 so from here on out, Cyberpunk 2077 is only set to receive small, less significant updates. That being said, the latest version still delivers some great changes.

Take a look at CDPR’s Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty in action below.
You can check out the full patch notes for Update 2.11, but allow me to speed through the main headlines. In terms of gameplay, melee finishers will now work properly, an issue has been fixed where health items could become unequipped from the quick access slot after using consumables, Axolotl cyberware will now reduce cooldown when neutralising an enemy non-lethally, the Iconic Contagion quickhack will cause an explosion when combined with the Overheat quickhack, Skeleton cyberware will no longer get downgraded after acquiring level three of the License to Chrome perk, skill shards for skills that are already maxed out will no longer drop, killing NPCs who are drunk or using a braindance will now properly trigger the police system, and cyberware capacity will now be capped at 450.
In terms of quests and the open world, car chases have been adjusted so they don’t overlap, players who missed the crashed AV in Rancho Coronado can now obtain the BFC 9000 Iconic weapon, plus several quest related bugs have been fixed. In Phantom Liberty, a number of quest related bugs have also been sorted, plus an end credits message has been added from Reed for endings other than The Tower.

A radioport category has been added in settings, various shadows have been tweaked, tire track marks will now match the content patch of the tire, vehicle suspension has been adjusted, and a CrystalCoat feature has been added allowing you to change vehicle paint. All in all, it should give the game a nice boost.
