If there’s one fact that unites us, it’s that we all love a free game. The vast majority of the free games I download end up getting added to my neverending backlog, not to be touched for at least six months - maybe longer - but hey, they’re there for a rainy day. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can now grab Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant, and Divine Knockout.
One of my favourite titles of this year is now available to download for free on Xbox Game Pass. I’m talking about LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which has provided me with endless hours of fun. Today though, I bring you a free classic FPS that anyone can get their hands on: Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000.
Speaking of LEGO Star Wars, take a look at some of our favourite hidden details in the game.
You can now grab Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000 for free on the Rebellion Games storefront (Thanks, PC Gamer) to celebrate Rebellion’s 30th anniversary. You’ll just need to sign up for Rebellion’s mailing list and then a promo code will be sent your way to grab a PC copy on Steam. It’s a ‘limited time offer,’ one per customer and subject to availability so if you fancy a copy, I’d be speedy about it.
Advert
Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000 contains three campaigns: Colonial Marine, Alien and Predator. The game sees players “fight through suspense-filled environments: from starships and space stations to colonial bases and eerie planetscapes. One wrong move turns you from hunter to prey.” The single-player Skirmish mode will allow you to take on infinite Alien hordes. Spooky.
As an Alien, you can scale walls and elevator shafts as you “attack and devour your victims,” or “stalk your prey as the deadly Predator,” if that’s more your style. Run, don’t walk to get your hands on this one.
