Marcin Iwiński, the co-CEO and one of the founders of CD Projekt, announced his resignation from his role in the strategy update from the company that came on Tuesday.
"I've been at CD Projekt for almost 30 years and I have seen it go from a handful of passion-driven rebels to an internationally recognized developer of story-driven role playing games loved by millions globally," said Iwiński in his statement. "Back when Michał Kiciński and I founded the company, I don't think either of us would have been able to imagine this incredible journey, not even in our wildest dreams."
Is Cyberpunk 2077 even any good these days? We'd argue that it's come a long way. Check out our video below!
Crucially, Iwiński is not leaving the company. He's set to join the supervisory board which steers the activities of CD Projekt Capital Group, as a chairman. "In my new non-executive role I will remain active and engaged dedicating my focus on supporting the entire management board," he continued. "I will also remain connected to the core of what makes us special, which is making the best storytelling games in the world and doing right by gamers."

Besides that, the strategy update had a handful of huge announcements regarding Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher, and an untitled new IP. Project Orion is the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, spearheaded by CD Projekt's newest North American team. Project Polaris is The Witcher 4 which heralds a "new saga" for the series in more way than one. Lastly, Hadar is the new IP, which truth be told, is the one I'm most looking forward to.
