Call Of Duty: Warzone 2 is live now, offering players around the world access to free-to-play battle royale mayhem.
First impressions of the new Call Of Duty are mostly strong, with fans praising the game's new map, thoughtful mechanics, and general tweaks to the last game's formula. However, it wouldn't be a Call Of Duty game without some teething issues now, would it?
One of the most contentious parts of Warzone 2 so far seems to be the game's looting mechanic. A post on the battle royale's subreddit (via GamesRadar) takes aim at the game's "wacky" looting system. In a nutshell, players aren't thrilled with the time it takes to pick up loot and other precious resources.

I totally get it. Nobody wants to get shot in the head in the five seconds it takes to pick up a gun that could've secured you the win, right? That's super frustrating.
"It's garbage," wrote one player. "They made a completely fine system much harder to read and understand."
"I really hope they revert it to the WZ1 system," another agreed. "One of the best parts of WZ1 was how streamlined it was."
The good news is that there is, in fact, a way to make looting in Warzone 2 slightly more efficient. While it doesn't completely eliminate some of the issues players are having, it will speed things up a decent amount.

All you need to do to enable the change is venture into Warzone 2's settings (on any platform) and change the "Contextual Tap" option. This will change the process of looting gear so that all you need to do is tap the button rather than hold up, thus saving you valuable time and giving you an important edge. Simple!
