Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood ‘truly amazing’ remaster stuns fans

Assassin's Creed? More like Assassin's Need

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is one of the best Assassin’s Creed games, and it’s deserving of a remaster.

Ubisoft doesn’t seem to be keen on the idea of remastering/remaking too many of its games, though apparently a full-on remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is on the way so there’s hope yet.

Out of all the games though, Ezio’s trilogy deserves the biggest spotlight, especially Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.

If you’ve got a PC though you can sort of remaster the game yourself; take a look at this video from YouTuber KTMX that gives the game ray tracing and improves some of the textures.

The results speak for themselves, making it even harder to accept that there’ll probably never be an official version from Ubisoft.

Technically Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection remastered all three of his games, including Brotherhood, but not to the extent you can on PC yourself. It was mainly just a touch-up that displayed the games in HD.

We’re talking about a real, honest to God remake that puts the work in and gives us a tour around a photorealistic Rome.

That said, the future of Assassin’s Creed looks pretty good too, as the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows actually looks like a solid title after the delays and the previews for the game were very positive.

Exploring Feudal Japan has also been on the wishlist of Assassin’s Creed fans for a while now, and we’ll finally be able to do it in the next game.

With many more titles planned after Assassin’s Creed Shadows drops, there’s a good chance we’ll be returning to some familiar locations and faces, not just Edward Kenway in the rumoured Black Flag remake.

Let’s hope Ezio makes his triumphant return too, likely through a remake of Assassin’s Creed II before any of his other games.
