The Assassin’s Creed franchise is bigger than ever, with Ubisoft doubling down on the series with 11 new games planned for release over the next few years. New titles will span a variety of platforms, from home consoles, mobile devices and VR. Ubisoft recently increased its development staff by 40% to compensate for the new projects.
One game on the horizon is the much needed remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which has got fans hyped, especially if it keeps the beloved sea shanties from the original game.

In other news, fans believe they’ve discovered evidence of an Assassin’s Creed game that was previously thought to have been cancelled ages ago. New evidence suggests it’s returned from the grave, and has been reworked as an online-service looter game.
