Red Dead Redemption 2 free download announced, you've until 8 July

Get these free downloads now, you don't have much time

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans can get their hands on some free downloads courtesy of Rockstar Games, but you’ll have to be fast as they disappear on 8 July.

There are often nice little freebies to be had in Red Dead Redemption 2 and this week, presumably to celebrate Independence Day in the U.S. you can claim some goodies by completing a few quests.

Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to dominate the gaming landscape since being reduced to its cheapest price on Steam

Any patriots logging in this week, between 2-8 July, will receive a Rebellion Poncho for free. And that’s not all. You can complete some simple missions and get even more for your time.

“Completing an Animal Sighting Mission and a round of Wildlife Photography will net you the Burned Town Treasure Map and the blue Owanjila Hat, respectively.”

Plus, if you can complete five daily missions in a row, you can walk away with the red Eberhart Coat.

That’s several goodies available and not a lot of work to snag them, so why are you still reading this when you could be playing?

Wait! Actually, there’s more. Suppose you’ve got some spare cash down the back of the sofa. In that case, you’ll be thrilled to know you can be even more patriotic and buy the red, white, and blue Patterned Bandana, alongside the Covington Hat, Tied Pants, Ortega Vest, and Woodland Gloves, which are all back in the shop until 29 July all courtesy of Rockstar Games.

Still there? Good. Naturalists who log in before 29 July will receive 30 Sedative Rounds, 3 Blending Tonics, and a Potent Predator Bait, and the opportunity to buy the advanced camera for 50% off at your campfire.

That’s plenty for you to be getting on with, now, off you go. Go and be patriotic by staying in, avoiding family, and playing video games all weekend. Don’t forget to stock up from the cookout before closing the curtains and playing Red Dead Redemption 2 constantly.
