GTA 6 overhauled wanted system teased, and fans are hyped

How many stars to call in the army?

With GTA VI creeping ever closer, fans are still picking apart the trailer, the leak, and any rumours, in the hopes of finding out more about the gameplay.

Without a second GTA VI trailer, sure to show off in-game shenanigans, fans are left with no option but to hunt for clues as to what might occur when we can finally venture into Vice City.

One day, there will be a new GTA 6 trailer, but it's not today

Stemming from Reddit, GTA fans are looking into the possible wanted system, and how it could be overhauled for this new instalment.

The traditional five-star wanted level has been a mainstay in the series and rarely gets much attention, aside from the differences in law enforcement.

Now, eagle-eyed players are thinking that there will be some differences in how to dodge the cops, or even how they attempt to track you across Vice City.

“I just realized that this part of the trailer is showing off the new Wanted System. The cops must not have a description of the suspect, so they just drive by Jason and Lucia.” said cleverest_username in their thread.

This caused others to look back at the infamous Rockstar Games leak and note that we saw subtle changes back then.

OrganizationNo203 notes, “In one of the leaks when Jason and Lucia are robbing the Diner, as they are about to leave you can actually see a little message pop up at the top saying that the cops have full description of the vehicle they used to get away, so there could very well be a new element to the wanted system.”

There could now be major ways to avoid getting caught by the fuzz, maybe losing wanted stars with items of even clothing.

“They mention this in the GTA VI document compiled using all the leaks. Using masks will also help concealer your identity,” mentions another Redditor.

Being able to game the system will add another level of depth to the immersion, and fans are getting their hopes up.

With one saying, “That would actually be a really good feature.”
