GTA 6 leaker confirms which console you'll want for the best experience in Vice City

GTA 6 leaker confirms which console you'll want for the best experience in Vice City

It feels like the obvious choice

Another day, another GTA VI rumour, although this one holds a fair amount of weight.

An industry insider has recently claimed that the groundbreaking, blockbuster game from Rockstar Games will benefit greatly from running on PlayStation 5 Pro.

Please, Rockstar Games, for the love of God, can we get a new trailer for GTA 6?

I know, hardly a monumental discovery and, to be honest, this industry insider could have just been my mate Dave giving an educated guess.

We have known for a great many years that Rockstar Games tends to favour the PlayStation brand due to their history with the console.

It would come as no surprise then if they were busy working away on a PlayStation 5 Pro mode to support the newest and most powerful console on the market.

The rumour suggests that some of the team at Rockstar Games is hard at work learning the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, also known as the hilarious PSSR.

This would enable the development team to take advantage of new technology to create the best version of GTA VI and make it the best place to play.

Of course, you’d have to sell a kidney in order to play the best version of the game that might only be a fraction better than the standard PlayStation 5.

The only reason this rumour holds any water is that it feels obvious.

I can say with high likelihood that Rockstar Games has had the PlayStation 5 Pro hardware in their offices for quite some time.

If they’re going to come out with the biggest video game of all-time, they’re going to want a chance to deliver the best version of it for the hardware available.

The PlayStation 5 Pro, while it’s had a few hiccups recently, can boast an improvement in texture fidelity and framerates, so it will make GTA VI run like a dream.

We’ll have to wait to hear from Rockstar Games officially, but we think this is a safe bet.
